Corrections Policy

Our Commitment

Lighthouse is committed to accuracy and transparency. When we discover an error in any published statistic, we correct it promptly and document the correction publicly.

How We Correct

When a correction is made: (1) the statistic is updated with the correct value; (2) a record is added to our public corrections log with the date, old value, new value, and reason; (3) any derivative data or pSEO pages that referenced the corrected statistic are re-rendered; (4) API consumers are notified via the provenance chain.
